Over the years at The Tiyya Foundation, we would regularly bring community together to enjoy flavorful foods, unique music, and hear captivating stories. As society re-opens back up slowly, stay tuned for the re-launch of our experiential community events taking place in Los Angeles and Orange County.
Internships
Join Tiyya’s robust internship opportunity and gain real-life experience. Projects include virtual event planning, coordinating with local school organizations, outreaching to local refugee families that Tiyya serves, translating conversations and documents, conducting research, and much more!
Workshop Facilitators
Individuals and corporate volunteers are graciously invited to host workshops that provide professional and/or personal development for our families. Previous workshops included college preparation, public speaking, art, yoga, and more. We are always looking for eager volunteers to help support our families with various needs such as ESL, youth homework tutoring, neighborhood orientation, and job coaching.
